Crucifixion Week via Daniel 9:24-27

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Daniel 9:24.

In this video, I present my chart laying out what I believe the Bible (along with history) supports as the timeline for the Crucifixion week, particularly in connection with the prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27.

After years of believing the Dispensationalism, Left Behind view regarding end-times prophecy, I finally did my own search through the scriptures and discovered that this teaching is NOT supported by the Bible! In fact, it wasn't even considered truth until the mid 1800s after a so-called "prophet" had a vision of an end-time rapture, great tribulation, antichrist, etc.

Putting all of this teaching aside, I set out on a two year exhaustive examination of the scriptures and history, and eventually had to repent and reject all of this wrong theology. Unfortunately, it has become the standard position for most mainline denominations in the US, as well as the majority of pastors and teachers on television. This is quite shocking to me; how can so many teachers and preachers of God's Word reject scripture AND what was the predominate view of the church fathers up until the mid 1800s for an unbiblical theology? How has this heresy been able to continue?

It is my experience and my belief that this wrong teaching works beautifully into the enemy's hands, in that it puts many in the church in great fear of a coming world calamity, paralyzing them from praying and taking all the actions necessary to advance the kingdom. Others are lulled into complacency, believing that Jesus will rapture them out of the earth before such events occur. Dates are prophesied by professing prophets and supposed watchmen, and yet the kingdom continues to advance as it always has.

Yes, it is wise to be aware of the enemy's schemes, but we, the church, are not to hide in unbelief and false teachings. We are to pray and use all the mighty gifts of the Holy Spirit to thwart the devil's plans and advance the Kingdom of God in the name of Jesus Christ! Lets believe the Heavenly Father and DO what He is calling us to do!

Study this on your own and be convinced of the truth!

The Book of Ruth - Part 5

Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day. Ruth 3:18

We are continuing in Chapter 3 where Boaz assures Ruth that he will do exactly as she asks by redeeming her as a close kinsman under the Jewish Law. And yet, there is a closer kinsman who must first be given the opportunity to do the task.

This closer kinsman represents the Law, which is good and holy, but which cannot redeem sinful man. Jesus, our heavenly Boaz, satisfied the Law by taking away sin, the curse, and death, thereby setting us free from guilt and condemnation, among many other things!

Like Boaz's promise to Ruth to provide her a place of rest and protection, our savior has done the same for us by going to the cross, dying for our sins, and then being resurrected from the dead.  IN HIM, we have rest, protection, and peace.

That's the message of the empty tomb. No more law, no more curse, no more death. We have been delivered, indeed!

Happy Resurrection Day!

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:7-8.

I love a good thriller where the main character outsmarts the bad guy and causes the villain to fall into his own trap! It's even more thrilling when the audience has no clue how on earth the protagonist is going to pull off this great feat, but when it happens and everything works as planned, entertainment is at its zenith. Right now I'm thinking of the Sherlock series starring Benedict Cumberbatch. My entire family loves this show, because Sherlock Holmes is always one step ahead of the antagonist--and usually the audience as well!

The same is true with our God! Paul tells us in his first letter to the Corinthians that the princes of this world who are in allegiance with Satan (once Lucifer) had no clue that the cross would be the very instrument the Father would use to destroy their hold on mankind - to deliver us from sin, the curse, death and hell! And not only that, it would be the instrument that would annihilate sin, vanquish the curse, fulfill all the law AND be the way in which MANY would become born again, sons and daughters of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, anointed with the power and authority of Jesus Christ, and destined for a life of GLORY!

Talk about a major duping! No one on earth or under the earth had any idea of the mystery of the church that had remained hidden by God since the foundation of the world, until He revealed it to the Apostle Paul. Jesus' resurrection from the dead PROVES that Satan's authority over us has come to an abrupt end. By faith, we have been born again in Christ, alive in accordance with the law of the spirit of life, no longer dead and subject to the law of sin and death. His ascension back up to heaven is even further proof that we are destined for a GLORIOUS life in and with Him and the Father. He has given us His Holy Spirit as a guarantee of that wonderful life to come.

Things have just gotten started for us while we remain on this earth as sons and daughters of God. We have an eternity of marvelous things ahead. We have no idea what that exceedingly, abundantly above-all-we-can-ask-or-think life will be like, we just know it will be GOOD!

We thank Him for ALL He has done for us - much of which we still don't have a revelation of, but revelation will come if we ask and wait for it. He longs to share with us the deep things of Himself.

Enjoy this wonderful day and bask in His love and gracious gifts - most importantly - His gift of His son, Jesus!
